We are delighted to share an update on the renovation of our newly opened Victoria Library, which has quickly become a vibrant and much-loved space within our school community. Brightly decorated with colourful furniture, cosy seating areas, and shelves brimming with exciting new books, the library has already become a favourite spot for many students. It is now regularly used for Literacy lessons, quiet study, and as a peaceful place to enjoy a good book.

As part of our commitment to fostering a love of reading, the Victoria Library hosts regular reading competitions, book-themed challenges, and creative writing activities that encourage students to engage with literature in fun and inspiring ways. We also ensure a continual refresh of our book collection, with new titles added each term to reflect student interests, current topics, and popular authors.

When choosing a name for this special space, it felt only right to honour Mrs Money, a much-loved and deeply missed member of staff who sadly passed away in early 2020. Mrs Money was a passionate advocate for reading, always encouraging students to explore new stories and develop their own writing. She was, in fact, working on her own novel at the time of her passing. We know she would have truly loved this dedicated space for reading and reflection, and we are incredibly proud to name the library in her memory.

The Victoria Library is more than just a room full of books — it is a calm, welcoming environment where students can read, learn, think, and grow. We look forward to seeing it continue to thrive as a hub for literacy, creativity, and quiet inspiration.
