STUDENT
LEADERSHIP
At Northfleet School for Girls, student leadership is at the heart of our school community. We believe in empowering our students to become confident, responsible, and inspiring young leaders who make a meaningful impact within and beyond our school. Our Student Leadership programme offers a wide range of opportunities for pupils to develop their voice, grow their skills, and play a vital role in shaping school life. From Year 7 through to Sixth Form, students are encouraged to take initiative, support their peers, and lead by example.
Our leadership roles span across various areas of school life, including the prestigious Head Girl Team, who represent the student body and play a key role in key school events and decision-making. Students can also apply to become School Ambassadors, Peer Mentors, Language Ambassadors, or Performing Arts Ambassadors, each role offering unique responsibilities and the chance to contribute to the life and ethos of the school. Whether supporting younger students through mentoring, representing NSfG at external events, or promoting the arts and language learning, our student leaders are proud role models.
Student leaders at Northfleet School for Girls play an active role in planning and delivering whole-school events such as Cultural Days, Charity Fundraisers, and our Primary School Outreach Programme. These events not only celebrate diversity and inclusion but also build strong links with our local community. Through these leadership experiences, students gain confidence, teamwork and communication skills that prepare them for future success while making a real difference to school life today.
