CAREERS
INFORMATION
Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) at NSfG aims to prepare students for the changing demands of the employment market, actively linking with national requirements and guidance for careers education, information and advice. Working in partnership with employers, further and higher education providers and external agencies we are able to support all our students in achieving their own personal career aspirations.
The journey begins in year 7 through various aspirational workshops and activities, inspiring students to dream of what could be, and what they could achieve. This theme continues through years 8 and 9 through activities, events and trips linking with local universities and industry professionals.
In years 10 and 11 our focus progresses to supporting students in taking the next step on their journey; making plans and putting them into action to secure positive post-16 destinations.
All NSfG students are able to access careers information, advice and guidance from our in-house professionally qualified careers advisers offering impartial support through career choices and learning pathways.
